• We had visited this venue on a previous occasion and enjoyed the meal so with a party of 12 we returned, our 8pm sitting was not ready until 8-45 and we had not chosen our seats or sat down before the starters arrived ! after the starters came the main course which over the majority of meals was dry and 'stewed' as if re-heated, the Chicken Tika on one meal consited of 3 ! small bits of chicken when questioned staff told us the portions were being 'scaled down; I personally had 13 chips with my chicken and my partner had a dry chicken pie which she could not eat. All 12 of us agreeit is the last visit we will have there.

• We have been for a meal here before with a family party of 8 and we had all really enjoyed it so my wife and I returned on our wedding anniversary and I had the gammon, it was burnt and dry, when I mentioned this, I was told this is how it comes off the grill!! I was offered another meal but it had put me off eating so I declined, The bill arrived with the burnt meal on it. When I said I did not think i should pay for a meal I did not eat the manageress was not happy. I refussed to pay for what I had not eaten and she changed the bill and then told me not to come again. So we had gone from loving a previous meal to being barred from the premises for declining a burnt meal ! Their loss as we had decided to have a big family birthday there in April but not now. The customer care could do with improving.
