• Our `Steak 'n Ale' group, from Dunchurch/Rugby, came here on Thursday 5th August and we were most pleased with: The Menus, The Value and with the service from Julie and Nicky, whose smile and friendly banter enhanced the whole experience. We'll be back!

• shocking food steak was awful avoid this unfriendly inn .when challenged about food told tough luck some steaks are like that and charged me full price.

• Just returned after another lovely visit to this great country pub - usual warm welcome, excellent value and quality of food. What more could one ask for ?

• I totally disagree with Paul Jones, He must have been having a bad day. Nigel the L>L is a joker, his partner is the boss, a lovely little waitress all smiles. The food is as good as any of many pubs we visit on our regular Friday walks around Warks: Oxon & Bucks areas. AND 2 for the price of one menue. Brilliant good luck.brian & Colin Banbury.

• Slow, service, average food, talked down to, real ale is tasteless with no body and expensive! Won't be re-visiting!
