• Six of us went for Sunday lunch. Great choice of 14 real ales, pleasant, efficient and friendly staff and a good choice of meals. We all went away after a few hours longer than we intended well satisfied. We will return soon.

• Remember this is only a pub and the food reflects that! Special Boards delivered poor quality, over-cooked food at extortionate prices. Inefficiency on ordering and payment - queuing for both. Advice - stick to real ale and a packet of crisps

• service was appalling. We had been warned to ask what they havn't got good job we did as they hardly had anything. We decided on steak and then they had no pepper sauce can't they make it the answer is no it comes in sachets ready made. Never again this is twice now and were told that they were changing the menu 6 days later so they were running the fridges down we left very disappointed and hungry. I know this sounds sour grapes but 4 weeks ago we had a really nice value for money pub meal how can this change so drastically in such a short time
