• we held our wedding reception at the five ways pub in may 2011 in the large function room, and whilst the garden and patio area were beautiful the management left a lot to be desired. the food was very nice however was completely different to what we'd ordered and requested, the management was very pushy and bosy and refused to do even a mundane thing as open the side gate to enter the garden as it was ''to much hassle'' for her. we ordered chair covers for our big day on the confirmation from the five ways that they had the correct chairs for the covers however on the eve before our wedding i had to infact rearrange and change the chairs as they were all odd. we also ordered enough champagne for every1 to have a glass and so there was plently spare on the tables unfortunately i think they must of shared the rest amongst the staff as we didnt see any of it. the management then went on to continuously insult my new husband with regards to his stress levels which were infact hightened by her continuous rudeness, all in all the lack of respect for my husband and for our wishes the five ways pub infact ruined our special day rather than made it.
