• Excellent Mothers day, made special by staff at the Ferry Inn. Greeted by friendly and welcoming staff, who seated all 9 of us promptly in the lovely dining area with a roaring open fire. There were 2 mothers on our table, each receiving a bunch of Daffodils from the Landlord - a pleasant and unexpected surprise. We ordered from the blackboard, where we were given plenty of choices. Food came promptly and was lovely, definitely no complaints from us - we will return. Many thanks to the attentive and welcoming staff at the Ferry Inn - well done.

• arrived for lunch 18/03/2012 that had been pre booked the week before all tables were being set out for people to sit at ie table cloth cutlery etc myself and my wife were sat at a table with no such refinements and made to feel like poor relations we were constantly surrounded by people reading the menu board because there was no other alternative the sunday lunch price which was there to be seen by every one was disregarded and we were charged for the three coures mothers day special the feeling we got from our visit was that if you were a stranger to the pub then you will be treated differently to the local people just to mention the food it was very average
