• My two daughters (age 10 and 2 and a half) visited the pub this evening for a friends birthday, was only planning on staying half an hour, this was 6pm this evening. We arrived at the table youngest daughter went over to a table of children to say hello, I asked my daughter to "come here" she screeched slightly, she was kindly saying hello to a few customers pascal was behind the bar and shouted "who's child is this" I of course replied She is mine he then pointed at her and said No to me! I then picked Tia up brought her back to my table which was 5 ft away from where she was stood, she then went back to say hello to a few customers at that point Pascal more or less asked us to leave I can't have this in the Pub. i am absolutely disgusted with the way we were treated in this so called "family environment" If my daughter was having a dramatic tantrum I could understand but she was simply excited to be somewhere new and be around people!

• Recently had a lunch here, the meal was excellent, despite being very busy we were not kept waiting very long. Menu excellent choices!! Very friendly staff.will be back very soon
