• this place is a joke. busy iin day time but prices more expensive than other nearby pubs and atmosphere non existent at night... Owners have upset many locals who are the bread and butter of any pub...tourists come and go...food has gone downhill and i neither eat or drink in there any more. go to havanas nearby for great John Smiths or Oasis for families

• Got to agree with most of the comments on here, what a amazing place it was when it opened but in the space of 2 years it's gone rubbish, such a shame as it had everything but it's no coincidence that it went down hill when the big guy sold up, he new what people wanted and gave it to them...

• This use to be best bar in the east coast but has gone down hill over the last 2 year, we now go back to five winds and villager, poor beer, poor food, poor staff, poor everything to be honest. I hope the original owners back as our family and friends loved it

• Had a great time at Joes bar weather was good and the fish bowl cocktails were amazing. Good laugh sorry i missed the beach party last weekend.

• This was a really good pub when it opened, however it drastically went down hill, its a great pub for the typical "chav" as the music can be heard as far as the bell pub the other side of Ingoldmells. it was nice sat out side watching people go by, but then in became intolerable. It could be so much better if the owners had a vision. We used to walk by the pub across from it - now we do the opposite

• Very dirty, flat beer,very expensive for poor quality service and standard of beers, rude staff, this place is a joke,

• we used to be regulars there but the beer prices are way to high compard to every where else and shows how gready they really are towards holiday makers when people are struggling. It certainly is not the best food around there.

• good atmosphere when weather is ok . good fun . but the beer tetleys come on get some good beer on stones john smihs for us northern lads and dont get to gready with the prices, you can always kill the golde4n goose. good luck.
