• Having visted the fairfield on a couple of occasions me and my family decided to book here for my fathers funeral big mistake buffet food very poor when we complained we were met with a wall of sour faces and a bowl of chips to compensate if you are considering booking think wisely also if you have any disabled people in your party then forget it they dont cater as no ramps and the toilets are upstairs which they fail to mention I feel I had to write this as I dont want other people to have the same bad experiance as we did.

• Great place to meet up with family and friends. Nice cosy traditional pub, relaxed atmospher, good food and drink. We didn't realise how much time had gone by.

• Had the 2 main meals and a bottle of wine for £20, while catching up with an old friend. Great value for money, pleasent staff, lovely surroundings the chicken with cheese wrapped in ham was to die for. I'll certainly be going back at that price.
