• Word is getting around. Penny and Wayne are doing a great job at Elephant and Castle. Arranged lunch for my Mum along with sisters, Penny was great, pub looked refreshed and food was superb proper pub lunch with modern touch. Positives reviews should outway the negatives. Definitely going back. Thanks Penny, Wayne and Staff for a lovely lunch.

• We booked to have our club meeting here. Penny laid on a 2 course meal for all 32 of us. The food was superb. We have booked again for our next meeting as we had such a great time. The staff and service was just as good

• what a difference new owners make!!! The pubs is looking clean and fresh. Beer is well kept and food is great... well worth a visit

• I called in while out walking my dog, We where both made to feel really welcome, Unlike the Castle and Jolly farmer... The beer was a really nice pint, I even caught up on a bit of football. I would recommend this place to anyone

• Heard so much recently about this pub so we went for Sunday lunch. The best food i have had in a long time. Well worth a visit

• We took our Kids here and they had a great time, so we stayed and had dinner. which was the best pub food we have had in a long time. I would recommend anyone with children to use

• The children's garden had a large pile of dog mess in it which I had to ask to be cleared up. In the children's garden! Disgusting - suggest anyone with kids should avoid.
