• Ego Restaurant Heswall has always been a Favorite of mine ever since it opened 11 years ago, but over the last 18 months it has gone down hill, It still has it's vibrant atmosphere but the service and food is just getting worse, the waitress serving the downstairs front window has been so miserable for the last 18 months. The Gambas al Pil Pil King prawns saut�ed with garlic and chill which my wife always orders has got smaller last month served with five small prawns in a six inch diameter dish, now its being served in a three inch diameter relish dish, I thought it was a joke, then after waiting 45 minutes for my wifes well done steak, only to arrive poring with blood which she hates they have not been able to get the steaks done to our liking over the last 18 months,I ordered Haddock in a Bag Sustainable line caught haddock baked with fennel
