• One of the best Chinese Restaurants I have ever eaten at. The staff are efficient and courteous and the food was beautifully cooked and presented. I have enjoyed meals at this establishment for over 10 years

• Went in for a sit down meal with my wife the young male manager took one look at us , then looked at the empty restaurant and said they were fully booked, even though he'd just told the poorly dressed and scruffy couple in front of us that they had no bookings. I did use the Eastern Promised constantly for take away meals, however after this utter insult and discrimination I would never use again. After an excellent meal at the local public house "The Dolphin Arms" we walk past the Eastern Promise to see an empty restaurant!
