• Where to start? The food is average at best and the bar staff are very unhappy. The ladies toilets are filthy, locks on doors dont work and no soap to clean with. Horrible.

• The menu was extensive and I enjoyed the delicious vegetarian food. It went well with the Guinness. The staff were friendly, too. The Durham Ox has its own car park which is very handy. I also liked the large outdoor area for eating and drinking - really good on the warm and sunny day that I visited the pub.
