• This is one of my favourite restaurants! The food is superb! Proper Italian, just like how my gran made it when I used to visit her in Italy. The waiters are friendly and attentive to your needs. It's not cheap by all means, but damn the food is good! If you want cheap food there's a Pizza Express nearby, but if you want good authentic Italian food then the only place is Due Amici.

• The menu prices do not give a clear indication of what you will be charged.All potatoes, pastas and vegetables are charged as extras. There was a cover charge per person of almost £5.There was a charge for bread rolls whether you had them or not. There was a 10% service charge. We found the drinks were ridiculously expensive.When the final bill was given, it was a total shock. We could have eaten for a fraction of the price elsewhere and enjoyed it more. We did not enjoy the evening, the restaurant, the staff, or the food. Would not recommend
