"The Drovers Arms offers delicious home-made food which is all locally sourced. We have a large menu of home-made dishes including vegetarian options. Our chef is very passionate about food, ensuring everything we produce is sourced locally and as fresh as possible.Good pubs are hard to find and we are determined to offer our customers authentic ale served by friendly bar staff."

• Very friendly and welcoming staff, both by the landlady and bar/waiting staff. Really excellent roast beef dinner along with starters and desserts. We were also served very quickly. Absolutely no negative points... we have nothing but praise for this pub. This was our first visit to The Drovers Arms... we will definately be going again!

• The landlady is so unfriendly and un-welcoming, I certainly won't be dining there again!!! The food is not that great and our visit was a total dissapointment..... again!!

• We have been regulars at the Drovers pub for the last few years and seen the changes it has undertaken, however, just recently since its new ownership we have mixed reviews. The couple who are front of house are delightful and friendly, always make us feel welcome and at home, but the owner/manager is cold and unwelcoming. The food is inconsistantly good/bad and you just never know what standard of hospitality you are likely to receive on each visit. We were charged 85 pence for a dash of lemonade on one visit! Which made us feel totally ripped off.
