• Took a fish pump back after one month as it had stopped,the manger wasn't very nice he said I'll plug it in and see if works which it didn't then he said I'll change the fuse ,I said I've already done that .he said I'll see.it still didn't work he started taking it apart.i said its only a month old and under guarantee ,he clearly didn't want me to have a new one. Then he started saying it was my fault as I probably hadn't been cleaning it right. And then started questioning me about how I did this and what treatment I used in my tank.never did he say oh sorry for your inconvenience not a nice person needs training on how to deal with customers ,won't go back.

• I brought a pond pump from Dolittles which stopped working after 4 months and so I took it back to the shop and I was told that the part that was broken (which was the only moving part in the pump) was not covered by the 2 year guarantee. I tried to explain that my contract was with the shop and not the manufacture and that they should replace the part or the whole pump free of charge but the manager was not interested and said he would supply a part at a cost to me of £19 and a 4 week delivery time, by which time my pond would look like a bowl of pea soup. I loudly voiced my displeasure at this so that other customers in the shop would hear and Know that the manager was not prepared to accept returned faulty goods. I was then accused of steeling a guarantee and then forcibly and very physically Thrown out of the shop by 3 shop staff including the manager who then took my cars registration number and said that if I ever enter the garden village site again he would have me prosecuted for trespassing. The pump is a Blagdon all in one 3000 and after searching on the internet I got the part for £14.99 from Garden site in Birmingham 0 0

• Dolittles is the perfect pet shop !! We have purchased 1 rabbit and 1 chinchilla from dolittles and all the accessories to go with them. Both animals we have been able to reserve and hold before purchased, also both animals are very friendly and settled in very quickly, all the staff are very helpful on friendly and I will be using dolittles to purchase some goldfish and aquarium!!

• Pretty disgusted by this place, brought a rabbit in July and was told he was 18 weeks old, and a lop cross, took him to my local pet shop and he's 1 and a silver fox, I think it's disgusting that they lie about there animals to get people to buy them, I personally would have still brought mine if they told me he was 1

• Yeah so basically some bloke that served me refused to sell me a Chinchilla because I didnt ask him in his home tounge of Russain. This is disgusting behavoiour and I will be on my way to buy a Chinchilla and the required accessories from ASDA or ALDIS.

• Myself and my family have been coming here for years! Things are going to change... Will not be useing them EVER AGAIN!! We brought a rabbit as a new family pet for my sons Christmas present. They won't reserve any pets for us... We tryed! So had to buy the hutch, rabbit my son choice and etc there on then. Bewarned!! Popped back after Xmas to buy a cover for the hutch, asked a member of staff to help get the right 1. When I came home to use was the wrong one was too Big!!! When back to store to exchange it, lost the receipt between. Explained what had happened when I went back to the shop and was very disgusted by how I was treated by there staff only wanted it changing and would not help at all told me to come back another day when a manager was on, they couldn't ortharise it!! That that's 15 miles each way again for me to change it. Have got the managers number to try and sort it out... But what a nightmare. Staff haven't got a clue and I'm still discussed how I was spoken to and the very lack in any customer service what so ever!!

• My family and I regularly go to Doolittles as we have two guinea pigs and three rabbits and I am consistently amazed at the warm, helpful manner of the staff, as well as the sheer range of choice that the store offers. When we went to choose the animals, the staff were prompt, polite and despite the children being unsure about which animals they wanted, nothing was too much trouble for the staff and what could have been an incredibly stressful experience was saved by the wonderful staff. We since regularly return to top up on food and bedding and always find that we cannot leave without looking at all of the animals, who all seem to be very well looked after and well-adjusted. I would finally like to say, having never been pet-owners in the past, we naturally asked the staff for advice in the purchase and care of our new animals and they are so knowledgeable and truly nothing is too much trouble. I love this store and will be returning for a long time to come!

• I purchased 2 turtles last week from doolittles for my sons Xmas present the next day the one wasn't eating or swimming so I phoned a man on the reptile counter, he hold me the turtle should settle down within a week , on the 3rd day I phoned a man AGAIN on the reptile counter he told me to try different foods which is what I done on the 7th day I phoned the reptile counter AGAIN to ask the man if I could change the turtle who wasn't eating for one that was eating and to my DISGUST he told me NO as I had had them longer than 24 hours so now my 8 year old son has got to watch his XMAS PRESENT DIE THANKYOU DOOLITTLES

• The manager of this place is disgusting, vile person doesn't know how to treat customers. Shouldn't be aloud the job. I warn you not to go
