• Hi Andy sorry about your experience at the Dearnesman but the new owners didn't take over until the 17th June 2013 the vegetables are now fresh and the choice of meats are lamb beef pork and gammon which are varied from week to week they also do mash which isn't powderd I think for £6.50 it's a good deal

• Just had a Sunday Lunch, the choice of meats was Beef, Pork and ham, all were nice but the rest of the food was of very poor quality, the baby carrots tasted of being artificial lile the sort of cheapest of the cheap tined carrots, the stuffing was like sawdust and comparable to tescos cheapest 17p a box and the roast potatos looked like they had been oven cooked in oil then deep fried, the only potato boiled was cheap looking skins kept on potato and the cabbage was nice but the peas looked terrible and dry. The yorkshire puddings resembled tescos cheapest ready made things. Overall i ate the meat and very little more, for £6.50 a head it was rubbish and not like the meals i had before from the same place. The new owners need to stop buying cheap thinkibg of profit and actually serve good quality grub.
