• I paid for a Bosch tumble drier in store. Delivery was arranged for the following week. They asked if I had access difficulties at my property to which I answered "yes". The road was narrow but sufficient for a 7.5 ton truck to pass through. They noted this. I took half a day off work to receive the drier on the Monday morning. At around 11am I received a message to say they were unable to deliver as the road was too narrow and that I must call an 0870 number or the local store. Following lots of time trying to talk to human on this costly phone number, with no joy, I used the "no to 8070" website to find a landline number of the Chester store. I was told that the disctribution centre refursed to deliver because their vehicle was too large for the road. (Amazing that I get refuse lorries, removal lorries etc passing down the road but their 7.5 ton was too big... rubbish. More very bad service followed in the form of indifference to my wasted time waiting for the delivey and total intransigence in establishing a solution. Finally offered a refund or I could collect from the store myself. Spoke to a retail manager at the store who was a little better. We agreed they would deliver to my work address on the following Wednesday. NEVER AGAIN will I buy from this company. I have experienced terrible service; arrogant, indifferent and utterly unhelpful. Lots of "we're sorry you feel this way" and "we have not had this problem before statements but a breath-taking lack of honesty and sincerity. I advise avoiding Curry's for lack of service and unreliability.

• Terrible customer service! Rang to reserve a tv but when I got there they couldn't find it. Then they said it had a crack in it anyway. (Didn't phone me ahead of time to save me a journey.) Didn't offer any alternatives once there. Manager not interested whatsoever in keeping me as a customer. I shall definitely be taking my business elsewhere.
