• We come to crows nest in seaham on the 27th july 14..for a biryhday celebration. We were told we could not book a table we arrived at 1pm and had to wait for over an hour to be seated as we waited othere group was comin in and seated straight away. As we went to the bar we were told foos would be 50 minutes wait but starters would be out straight away.. we waited 40 minutes just for prawn cocktails even tho carvery was available at any point. Whenwe received the prawn cocktails it was terrible no taste at all. The carvery was all appalling due to no mash for kids we were told you dnt do mashnin the summer buuuttttttt.... another customer ordered fish and got mash with that..dnt make sense???????. We loved to come to this restaurant but will not be in future. Not good needs a different chef and staff need more training and better organised for busy days which comes down to manager

• The disgraceful service is provided by miserable staff that are NOT friendly at all. The so called manager is a disgrace when dealing with genuine customer complaints and has about as much courtesy and professionalism as a smoked haddock! The atmosphere is uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Truly a place in need of a managerial and staff change. Until such changes are made, I personally will NOT be going back. Furthermore, I would certainly NOT recommend this establishment to anyone.

• Can’t believe the previous reviews as our experience of this “establishment” could not differ any further. We found the staff and the Manager extremely rude and sarcastic when we made a complaint. The atmosphere in the Crows Nest is cold and unwelcoming, therefore should you wish to enjoy an evening with friends and/or family the Crows Nest is not the place to go! Believe me!

• Great pub, we had our wedding evening celebrations there and had a fantastic time thanks to the great management and staff who pulled out all the stops to make sure it was just perfect. Guests are still phoning us to say what a great evening they had. The service was great, the food was great and the atmosphere great with something for everyone.

• What a great pub. Much better since the new manager took over. Theres some great offers including the Goldon Greats 3 courses for �5.25 which me and my wife had. Great service, great food and a great atmosphere. Highly recommended
