• We went there on 19 August and had the best roast beef for years. The service was prompt and courteous and the landlord was very friendly. It has been renovated to a high standard and a log fire was a pleasant feature.

• went here for sunday lunch, the food was delicious, and the pub itself was very nice, just a shame about the owner. What a rude arrogant snob of a man he was. He spoke in a very loud voice about how he found bad reviews amusing, and how he discouraged families.We were a couple on holiday, and he treated us with total disregard. strangely enough our money was good enough tho. We love Cornwall, and the locals, but certainly wouldnt be returning to this pub, or reccommend it.
