• We have visited the Clay Pipe for years and it is now one of our locals. Food great staff friendly and we like the idea that some areas are of 14's only. It must be hectic at times.

• Food was ok. No complaints at all. The fact that both my children were under 14 was a problem. With the vast majority of empty tables in the bar area displaying signs that children under of the age weren't allowed to sit there we were pointed to the pokey little family room where myself, my wife and unruly 11 and 13 year old children were put out of sight. I remember back in the 70's as a kid sat outside of a pub with my packet of crisps and bottle of coke. I thought them days were long gone. Family friendly? Obviously not!
