• Self employed and needing a Mortgage. Recently, like many others do, I needed to take out a mortgage. Being self employed in the construction industry and being paid through the CIS system makes getting a mortgage appear to be impossible, until you finally manage to speak to somebody who is prepared to put in the work to help you secure a mortgage. After speaking to numerous so-called mortgage experts, some of which told me I couldn't secure the amount I was looking for, whilst others said I wouldn't be able to secure any mortgage. Fortunately I came across Clare Jackson and explained my situation. Clare told me that getting a mortgage would not be a problem and it would just be a case of gathering the required paperwork for a mortgage lender. So over a period of time the necessary paperwork was given to Clare who subsequently secured me a mortgage with a well known mainstream bank at a very competitive interest rate. JUST REMEMBER - just because "the computer says no" with some mortgage advisors, that doesn't mean all is lost. Most of the time it's about talking to the right person. For me that was Clare Jackson of Complete Mortgages Harrogate. Thank you Clare.
