• just been to this pub we found it very freindly the food was excelent the fat chips were to die for the beers were very good the staff could not do enough for us loved it will be returning

• me and my husband had a meal at the chequers about four years ago and it want excellent the food was amazig the staff were polite am very helpful could not complain.but we returned not long ago and i must say it was the worst meal i have ever have the beer didn't taste right the service was terrible the staff were very rude and looked like they were dragged through a hedge backwards and it no longer had any finess at all how ever has the pub now has just turned it in to a scruffy boozer!
