• Have now been twice and the extra touches make this our restaurant of choice for any occasion. The scallops were wonderfully sweet and the hint of star anise with the belly pork was a wonderful touch. Cheese great as was house red. Shall be returning

• Loved the venue and the meal was excellent but the restaurant was over catered for and the noise was so bad that we could not hear ourselves speak.Very disapponted as I really thought we had found a good restaurant close to home but unfortunately I could not put up with the noise and was relieved to leave very disappointing I hope they address this issue!!!!

• Just popped in for a quick drink, lovely decor, very comfy - friendly staff - so nice to have somewhere lovely to go and only 15 mins from home!

• Just returned from The Checkers resturant in Montgomery Powys. A recently opened former pub. Well what a suprise, the food was absolutely wonderful, slow roasted belly pork and creamy mashed potato served with a selection of seasonal veg and a rich jus. Creme Brulee to finish which was lovely. At last a really good resturant near by, 15 min from where l live, better than trekking all the way to Ludlow for a decent meal. Good luck and keep up the good work.
