• How lucky you are to have such a brilliant chip shop in your area. I travel all round the country (in fact last week in Whitby fish and chips at the magpie) this place comes a very close second, I have never had fish just prepared and cooked for me, fantastic. How this shop is not in trip adviser I do not know. Looking forward to visit my son again in Stotfold . This sort of shop needs all the local support only been going for over 90 years. What a find for me,,,

• The man in the shop was very friendly, however the shop was old and dirty. This was already putting me off my fish and Chips. When u got home and unwrapped the paper was drenched in a thick dark oil. This I would suggest the oil needed changing. The chips were a funny brown colour and tasted bitter. The fish was not too bad however the batter was flat , not crispy and full if oil. I will not be going back for seconds.
