"Enjoy the open fire with a fine pint of traditional ale or maybe a glass of wine. Freshly prepared Home cooked food fresh coffee and a selection of teas with a piece of home baked cakes served daily. Free WiFi and daily news papers. Dogs are welcome. Lovely beer garden with tables and play area. "

• Just been for lunch - cosy, friendly atmoshere and cheerful staff. So diifferent now it's changed hands. Our meal was delicious, the ginger pudding was the best! A lovely, relaxing two hours. We will be back for more.

• We eat here often and apart from one time when the bacon was not cooked enough for our taste we have never had any problems.

• Visited this pub for my daughter's birthday. Foul language from landlord behind bar in front of women. Boiled potatoes were not cleaned properly! Some were dark grey! Not recommended.
