• Didn't stay in this hotel during our trip to Dunbar but did spend most of our weekend in the bar, largely due to the friendly atmosphere provided by the locals and a particularly pretty and colourful barmaid!! Would recommend the castle for a drink, some very good food all reasonably priced. Hope to be back soon.

• Rooms basic but reasonably priced so no complaints. Good atmosphere and friendly locals. Must agree with previous review, food very good at a great price but who hired that waitress!!!! That lady should not be serving food her moody attitude would sour milk.

• Hand cut chips! Amazing food at a great price. Waitress left alot to be desired maybe she was having a bad day. Would recommend the food to anyone looking for bar suppers.
