• Nearly collapsed when asked for £3.60 for a pint of lager. Recently redecorated and you'd be forgiven for thinking you'd just entered the Blue Oyster

• Had a great night here as a visitor to the area, but bizarrely it appeared that a local stole a table from the premises and made off into the night like Batman.

• Certainly worth a visit to this well run friendly pub. The landlord Brett "the hitman" Clough always makes sure all customers old and new are very welcome

• I am a regular at the Cardwell Inn. The atmosphere is friendly and welcome. The food is excellent and competitively priced. The staff are always friendly and there is a mixed range of ages that frequent the pub. I would fully recommend the Cardwell.
