• Was in the area on buisness and decided to pop in for something to eat and get info on accomodation. The food was very good and well priced, however the service was appalling. Staff very inattentive and the only presence of management was a young girl walking around, looking very un prefessional claiming she was the manager/owner. Then when asking about accomodation, I was informed that it was no longer a hotel and now a bar and restaurant. Well change your name from hotel to bar & restaurant. The only good thing to write home about is the chef & his good, tasty food.

• went here for dinner last saturday whilst out for a drive to Gourock, staff were extremely friendly and service was fantastic, had the 2 course for �9.90 both of our starters were presented lovely and tasted even better, the main courses were a generous portion and we both enjoyed our meal, will definately be going back, possibly taking some friends as the surroundings were also nice, marks out of 10, i would give 11.

• great place to eat especially when they do their two courses for �9.90 fab. had a wonderful birthday lunch there. staff excellent.
