• I paid a total of £72,564.55 in invoices to Brown & Steele Builders promptly on demand. I suffered a number of breaches of building regulations including the standard size of the new landing at the top of the stairs which meant that the door had to be removed. William Brown has refused to pay the cost of the necessary amendment and extension of time for the building warrant. There has been the same negative response where there were serious breaches of the regulations regarding electrical works, which required a total rewiring by our own COMPETENT electrician. William Brown's initial reply was that he is waiting to hear from his electrician. After 9 months still nothing. No willingness to negotiate a settlement. Then William Brown said it was with his solicitors. Who are they ? No response from William Brown . I am now out of pocket for £6,349.20.
