• This pub is famous for its fresh fish & chips and real ales. This pub is not on the main steet and you need to keep driving after passing the Life Boat Station. The external look of this pub is not appealing but once you went in, it is quite spacious and have a very good atmosphere. The pub seems to be children and dogs friendly. Dogs are allowed at the end part of the restaurant. Locals & staff were friendly & welcoming. Efficient and attentive service. However, the most standing out was the food and beer. A very good pint of Spitfire. We had fish & chips, sausage & mesh & steak in our party. The food was superb and cooked to perfection. We kept talking about their food even the next day. To be honest, I was really impressive and pleasantly surprised by the standard. No wonder my business assciates insisted we must visit this pub. It definitely has my thumbs up!
