• Aimee had clearly to much time on her hands. Take no notice of such ridiculous and unfounded comments. Ex barmaid who no longer is with a nasty and spiteful grudge along with to much time on her hands. Hope she gets a new job soon, clearly to much time on her hands. Please take note of the other reviews which are serious and not a waste of peoples time. Great pub..fantastic food and a real locals pub with all the charm and atmosphere that is lost on the chain establishments.

• I remember coming to this pub when I was younger, and having a lovely baguette with chips and salad, so this seemed like the best place to come for lunch when I visited with a friend. When we did arrive, the pub was cold (as the landlord had forgotten to put the heating on in the restaurant, even though it was snowing outside!) The lady behind the bar, although very nice, didn't seem too sure on what she was doing. Our baguettes we ordered ended up being paninis (which were very nice), but were said on the menu to come with chips and salad, and we were given a small handful of salad with about 5 crisps (not chips!) With our soft drinks, we were not offered ice and slice, which being a barmaid myself I thought a little odd. I paid £7.95 for a prawn panini (which was for some reason more than the other baguettes), and I felt very overcharged. My friend and I were so cold, we ate our lunch in our coats, then left to have coffee back at my house. I feel very disappointed by our visit, and feel sad to place this review. By all means, if I was given my money back, I will take this review off!
