• Now under the fabulous guidance of a new tenant, the pub is now clean, bright and offers great food, service and top quality beer. A pleasure to see it back on the map!

• This is simply the worst place ever. The food was cold, congealed and soggy and I wouldn't have fed it to my dog. When we sent it back we were abused by the bar woman and her local clientele. Avoid this place at all costs. We asked to see the manager and he wasn't there and the bar woman didn't even know his name. A total shambles. It should be closed down, avoid at all costs. I have only given it 1 star as you cannot give zero.

• Visited The Boars Head last night for a few pints and some food. The homemade burger was very tasty, one of the best pub burgers I've ever eaten. The Guiness was perfect and poured by lovely bar staff. The owner was warm and welcoming. The clientele was all ages with no roudy behaviour, just people enjoying themselves. A warm and cozy atmosphere. Looking forward to my next pint in there. Thanks.

• Under new management. Has received a much needed face lift whilst retaining the charm. The excellent staff serve a good pint accompanied by a laugh and a chat.
