• Blue Orchid brings memories back to 1974 when I was a student at Barking College of Technology and I stayed at Romford YMCA, the staff was ever so polite and helpful and food was excellent. Since my return to Thailand in 1981, I visited Blue Orchid again in 1995 and the standard of food is still good.

• I cannot believe the first review is honest. Been there a number of times. First time I want they asked me my name. Went back 3 months later and they remembered my name. Its one example of very polite, professional and friendly service. Food is quality too.

• Me and my husband want to try food in Blue Orchid first time since they refurbished. From outside really nice and we decide to have nice dinner. But..... When we enter restaurant first thing what waiter ask as was Reservation Yes or No. We said no. Then waiter sad no table Buy. We were so apprised and disappointmed become we have seen so many empty tables around. They don't even try to give us estimate waiting time. Nothing. Customer service its really bad. We choose Cosmo insted and we were haply to pay £50 for buffet. Shame on you Blue Orchid.I'm sure i will never come back. Good luck to you in the future i don't thin you need refurbished your restaurant maybe insted you should refurbished your customer service .

• We have been visiting this restaurant since 1968 but recently refurbished externally & internally & with an excellent food menu this family run business is definitely an asset to Romford.
