Well, I heard that it was great while it lasted! A local friend tells me there were some enjoyable events and the food was good when it came on tap. I was looking forward to sampling it when I visited. But then just as it was really getting going, opening times reduced and became erratic, so people who wanted to support it were disappointed. This ‘great new landlady’ finally closed down the Blue Lion at the end of March. Why? R.I.P. Blue Lion!Great new land lady, new paint work,new carpets all customers new and old recieved with a welcome smile lets hope it goes on up wards from the dark old days and the food is soon on tap.12. 12. 2012
