• Sunday lunch at the Black Horse. Excellent. Friendly welcome; selection of 4 (or was that 5?) roasts plus two vegetarian options; quick service on extremely hot plates. Large serving of meat, 3 roast potatoes and a home-made yorkshire accompanied by 4 different vegetables all cooked to perfection. I thought they had made a mistake as there was enough for 4, and we were a table of 2! We liked the fact that the hot vegetable serving dishes were thoughtfully placed on cold plates to facilitate passing them around. Plenty of space between tables. Nicely understated themed interior decorations and very clean and well presented in all areas, including the toilets. All in all an excellent experience which we will repeat in the near future.
