• the worst fish and chips ive ever had. you always seem to get the hard sharps bits that are usually found at the bottom of the fryer. expensive to boot

• Sometimes you get lovely chips that are cooked properly, but about half the time they are undercooked and floppy/greasy. Also the sausages they use are cheap and nasty.

• Best fish and chips around, we have been using bells on a regular basis for some years and have ALWAYS been very satisfied.They are friendly, helpful , and we always look forward to going there, and we live ten miles away!!

• We have stopped going there and I think others reviewing here have had the same problem, it's something to do with the oil, the chips were not good the last couple of times

• I think its new owners. As the last two lots of food we have had has not been good at all. Please change the oil tom bells and the very rude young girl behind the counter.

• Went there last night. Have been using Tom Bells for some time. At one time it was good then it was ok. But since chritmas its been really bad. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

• Really super fish and chips, we wouldn't go anywhere else in this area, eat in or takeaway, and they will grill i the fish for you, lemon sole is amazing grilled, keep the good work up.

• The best fish and chips I've ever had. Not greasy or heavy. The paper comes away clean without the food sticking to it with oil. The fish is obviously fresh. The service is friendly and the shop is always busy...a good testament to their quality.
