• Visited this restaurant on the way home from a short holiday and decided that our last meal should be something a bit more special than at a motorway service station. We asked a local for directions to the nearest place to eat. He mentioned this restaurant, but said to avoid it, however, it was close by and we all fancied some Chineese cuisine. Oh how I wish I had taken that locals advice. The place was empty (it was a Saturday evening), however the member of staff seemed friendly and giuded us to a table where we elected to have the buffet. There was a coice of about 6 items, the majority of which were dried out and had obviously been lying out for some time. We quickly ate up and asked for our bill and to our horror were charged £60. We were a family of 2 adults, a 9 year old aznd a 7 year old. When I questioned the amout, I was told that they did not offer any childrens rates, both children were charged the same rate as adults. What a rip off, I would recomend to avoid this establishment. I spoke to the Manageress, who was completely unbudging, she stated that she had to charge full prices for childen to subsidise the number of 'large' adult who regularly come in and eat massive portions
