• Have never had such disgusting service and embarrassing behaviour from the ladies who own this shop. I was accused of having not paid for party decorations and was humiliated in their shop after I couldn't prove I had the month earlier without my receipt. Both sisters were convinced I was wrong as the amount written on their receipt book was £25 less than what I paid through the till. After shouting and cursing at me as well as waving and slamming a pair of scissors, I offered to pay the outstanding amount now convinced I was wrong and told them if I was right I'd return with my proof of receipt for a refund. This wasn't accepted and I'm not sure why. Another poor customer was witness to this awful confrontation and I left the shop shaken and upset. As soon as I got home I found my online bank statement which proved I had paid. Another family member of mine showed this proof to one of the sister owners within minutes as they were getting the party venue ready. I was going to give these ladies the benefit of the doubt expecting an apology whenever we'd bump into each other as I live in Ongar but was disappointed yesterday after one sister and her friend who also works in the balloon shop saw me walking with my toddler and baby and double backed down the road to hide in the Kings Head entrance while I walked past!!! I did see you ladies! An apology would have been nice, instead you can have this awful review and a recommendation to everyone who ventures into your shop to be aware of the unprofessional and immature behaviour you can expect from Balloonatics! Make sure these women write down the correct amount you have paid in their receipt books so you don't fall victim to the same accusations of stealing and being made out like a criminal, truly awful customer service. Unfortunately after many years buying my cards and balloons here I will never spend another penny in Balloonatics and will be sure to tell family and friends to avoid.
