• On a family holiday in Hayle three weeks or so ago, we woke to yet another day of rain. To fill the time, we had a bimble around Penzance - hmmm, perhaps Mousehole would be better... We'd. heard it was worth a visit but enroute passing through Newlyn, we spotted Anuty May's Really good food restaurant. Opinion was divided as to whether we should stop for lunch there - but those in the car of a reluctant disposition were soon eating their words - aswell as a delicious giant pasty - quite simply the best we've ever had. I myself opted for a Tuna and Lettuce Baguette - they couldn't have sqeezed anymore into it. Brilliant quality, brilliant quantity, briliant value and friendly counter staff. It was as if the sun shone for a while.
