• These post are all "auld" I was just in the Pub on Halloween (spent about everyday there last week)and its completely renovated. The kitchen hasn't been opened as of Halloween but was in the process. Billy at the bar is the perfect host and the crowd made this New Yorker feel like family. Great place to mingle with the locals or watch the matches. If your in the Auld Toon its the place to go.

• Food not good, tastes like the cheap frozen ready meals from farmfoods, but worse - if that's possible! Everything seemed reheated, stale and burnt. Garlic bread was dried out and revolting, chips were half cooked! Please dont think I am being fussy either as we quite often go to wetherspoons for some cheap hearty grub if we fancy something cheap and cheerful, and whilst not great, it's miles better than this dump. This place was actually more expensive and quite frankly, just awful! The dowdy waitress was a right miserable old bit of stuff as well! .... Never again!

• We have been here a few times now all good until tonight,service still great,atmosphere good but tonight the food was very disappointing which is a great shame,Before tonight i would have given 5 star rating.

• just came from having a meal here what can i say ...........excellent in quality,quantity and service i would definately recommend to others .....well we were told this was the place to go for a great meal service with a smile and a nice relaxing atmosphere with brill music to boot dont take my word for it go try it out .....by the way if your a hungry horace try out the "PRAYER GRILL" lol

• We have thoroughly enjoyed our visits to The Auld Toll. We have now started going for breakfast. £3.00 a head Ya cannae beat it. Wonderful food great service Value for money
