"THE AUCTIONEERS ARMS HAS RECENTLY BEEN TAKING OVER BY NEW OWNERSHIP. WITH A NEWLY REFURBISHED LOUNGE THE AUCTIONEERS ARMS IS NOW A FAMILY FRIENDLY PUB/RESTAURANT SERVING FRESHLY PREPARED MEALS AT GREAT PRICES. OUR SERVING TIMES ARE: LUNCH 12:30-2:30 AND DINNER 5:30-8:30 WEDNESDAY TO SUNDAY. OUR BAR NOW ALSO SHOWS ALL THE LIVE SPORTS INCLUDING STOKE CITY MATCHES EVERY WEEKEND."

• Great atmosphere for family on Bank Holiday. Landlady was doing face painting, bbq on the go, serving ice creams and a bouncy castle. Proper family-welcoming pub. Saw them in The Sentinel earlier and thought id give it a go. Good to see an effort being made to put a pub back into the community.

• The food was very nice, the new chef talked to us and took on board the comments we made. Shame about the dog ends in the front of the pub!

• with new owners still problems that need attention. shortage of bar staff n the one person serving was not customer friendly. average meal that was let downby mistakes that could ave been avoided.cold peas no salad n not asked how we wanted steak cooked. lack of condiments on table. just need advice from people who nhave catering background and could be more enjoyable night.

• thank you for your comments... good and bad are always welcome as we like to know what our customers think we can improve on. As to the smokers that used to use the front entrance, this issue has now been resolved with the building of a brand new smoking area by the side door which is totally separate from both the main entrances. • Recently went into this pub but feel not suitable for children. The people smoking in the entrance put me off and definately a pub for young people rather than families.

• The new owners are absolutly fantastic. So friendly and easy going - the perfect pub owners! Went for drinks and have since been for a meal. The food was absolutly gorgeous, would definitly go there again and again and again - not this frozen crap you get at the hungryhorse - all freshly prepared, good quality meats and all absolutly gorgeous. The menu isn't set, and they have specials! The lounge is very much children friendly. Can't wait to go again and i wish the owners the best of luck to carry this on! PLEASE GO AND TRY IT OUT I PROMISE YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPPOINTED!

• Went here once and never again.not welcoming, far too noisy and very much a locals only pub. Definately not suitable for children due to bad language used in there.!! AVOID
