• HORRIBLE service, no communication, false advertisement, extortion - stay away! Heard about Maggi and her animal hotel because of her (and I quote only) ‘Nigerian Goats’. As we wanted to breed Nigerians, or a mini of our guernseys this was of interest to us. We called Maggi to enquire about a sire. Her demeanour on the phone leaves much to be desired, but sometimes that may be the case with animal people – though with Maggi, I retrospectively suspect worse that her taciturn, and evasiveness, belies worse intentions. She said the amount for the sire was £50, and £25 for board. Now I have done research in this area of at least 6 other sires of registered goats of guernsey, pygmy - £50 is quite high for an untested, and unregistered, goat. But it was a Nigerian, or so she said. And normally sires charge £1 a day for board, so again for a 21 day heat cycle, which may sire sooner, maybe on the high side.

• Very strange place, hated it from the minute I set foot in it. No interaction from the woman who greeted us, neither with us (the humans) nor our dog. Never again and can't recommend it. But the kennels were clean.

• excellent place to board your animals and fantastic grooming standards an immaculate hotel with expert staff. Strongly reccomend.
