I ordered a car for 6.45 on a Saturday morning to take me to Stansted Airport from Chiswick. I expected a ring on the door at 6.45 or maybe a few minutes earlier. Instead by 6.55 no-one had turned up. I rang the office to complain and was told he was on his way. The driver then phoned to say he was waiting outside the house next door. I looked out of the window and couldn't see him. He couldn't explain where he was so I said we'd go out and find him. He was nowhere to be seen and when I phoned him it turned out he had driven off. Eventually he found us. Not surprisingly I was a little niggled by the delay (it was now 7.10) and he said he wouldn't take us and we'd have to order another taxi. I made it clear to him that he was taking us and we got in, 30 minutes late. His route out of Chiswick the North Circular was unusual to say the least and when we got to Stansted he missed the turning to terminal we were taking off from. To add insult to injury he didn't have enough change for the fare so I ended up paying more than I should have. Overall a terrible service.Rating history and distribution
