• Fabulous service at this bridal shop. Staff here couldn't have been more helpful. Very competitive prices and gorgeous dresses in the sale. I bought a beautiful designer dress here at half price that is still in this years collection. It needed altering and the price I was charged by Sheena, their very talented seamstress was more than reasonable. My friend paid twice what I paid in Blackpool to have her dress taken up two inches, Mine was taken in and taken up, alot more work involved. I will actually miss my visits there although i will take my dress back for dry cleaning and packaging now that my wedding is done. Again, very reasonable price for this service. Thankyou to Ambience for my beautiful dress,it received wonderful comments and compliments all day

• Terrible terrible service. If I hadn't have been to another bridal shop previous to this and experienced such wonderful service, I would have left in tears today. The staff made a size comment to me and sniggered at me not being able to fit into model sizes (I am a size 8 but uncalled for all the same). They made my bridesmaid feel totally in the way and an annoyance. It was all they could do to say 'hello'. We had to say it twice and then they barely looked up and acknowledged our existence. They sneered at my choice of wanting a white wedding dress and said that it was rare for someone to suit it whilst looking me up and down. I left feeling totally insecure and upset. The dresses were far more expensive than at other boutiques stocking the same labels and designs. Note to Ambience... people are paying a LOT of money for this special day. MAKE THEM FEEL SPECIAL. CREATE A NICE AMBIENCE. The only reson it says one star on here is because I had to choose a star to submit this. It would have been nil points.

• I bought my wedding dress, bridesmaid dresses and mens suit hire from Ambience. I couldn't fault their service, very professional, reliable and they know exactly what they are doing. I would recommend ambience to anyone who is getting married.
