• Very disappointed with lack of service from barman on arrival. We were the only customers at the bar. He chose to ignore us completely.The popularity of this restaurant appears to have declined from previous years judging from the lack of diners present when we visited Friday evening.The dinner plates were cold and the food was disappointing. Given the wide choice of excellent restaurants in the York area, this is not a restaurant we will be visiting again.
