• Anton Chattoo at 2Roost failed in his due diligence and allowed my tenant to get 6 months behind in his rent. Then, Anton asked the tenant to take a bank loan to pay his arrears but he deducted a “service fee” to pay himself - for failing to exercise professional care in his book-keeping, statements and accounts. I myself had to bring the arrears to his attention. Anton also deducted fees for work allegedly done in my houses but has consistently failed to provide contractors’ invoices and balance the books. Anton says he had to “dig for weeks to find my statements” but which he still hasn't provided. Any basic bookkeeping program would have my statements and accounts ready in one minute. There seems to be chaos in Anton’s letting and bookkeeping department. He also kept my rental payments from my tenants fit several months and failed to transfer to my bank account until I demanded the transfer. Would Anton Have transferred the rents if I have not spotted this? I’m sorry, but I cannot trust Anton and have fired him.
